Plot Summary: Dakota Fanning will play the title role in Effie, a biopic of Euphemia "Effie" Gray. The subject of one of history's most famous love triangles, Gray was married to art critic John Ruskin (Wise) in 1846 but, after Ruskin failed to consummate the marriage after five years, Gray had it annulled and instead married Ruskin's protégé, painter John Everett Millais (Sturridge).
