Plot Summary:
An as-of-yet-untitled biopic of former drug lord Pablo Escobar.
In real life, Escobar was the leader of a Colombian drug cartel in the 1970's. Rising in power over the years, he was targeted by a coalition of Colombian police and military along with the United States' DEA and CIA and was killed in 1993.
Both Joe Carnahan and Oliver Stone were recently involved with dueling Escobar biopics (entitled Killing Pablo and Escobar, respectively), but neither is currently in active development.
