Plot Summary: Based on "Dead Reckoning," a 1996 thriller novel written by Susan and Pierre LaTour that tells the story of Catherine Lakey, a chemistry professor who vanishes while vacationing in Cape Cod. Though her disappearance is assumed to be a suicide, her niece, Nancy, is unconvinced and begins to uncover clues in her aunt's beach house that such a far more sinister fate.
