Plot Summary: The sun and surf icon will becoming back to film and TV for the first time in more than two decades, and the Malibu heroine will be updated for the new millennium. Launched in a 1957 novel, Gidget spawned several movies, TV series and telepics, and launched the careers of Sandra Dee and Sally Field.
