What is with books turning into movies now in hollywood?
WTF do you mean now? Since pretty much the beginning of film they have been translating authors words into cinematic experiences. Some good (To Kill A MockingBird) Some bad (Honestly The Harry Potter movies do not do the books any justice, Except for Snape, Rickman is an acting God) Fact of the matter is, that its to buy the rights to a book than pay a screenwriter to write something 'FRESH AND ORIGINAL". I for one want a movie version of The Dresden Files....
