Plot Summary: Biopic about 19th Century French writer Guy de Maupassant, a young man who scandalously slept his way to the top of Paris' high society in the 1890's with some of the city's most influential women.

Thurman plays the wife of Duroy's friend, a woman who is extremely involved and connected in the goings-on of Parisian society. She helps Duroy in his ascent, later becoming his wife. Thomas plays a socialite who falls for Duroy, becoming clingy in the process.

Declan Donnellan's feature directorial debut is scheduled to shoot next year in Paris.

Pattison is perfect for this role after playing Dahli.He's a very good actor regardless of what anybody says//////
