If this is given the TLC it deserves, it will rock Twilight outta the water!!! (I am a 34 yr old married mum...or a MI-mama...lol)

AHHH! I'm excited! I wonder who's going to be Clary? Cuz...if they're still holding auditions for her, I'd love to try out. (I actually kind of look like her 'cept I need to be about an inch or two shorter and ma hair needs to be longer lol)

you have GOT to be kidding me!?
Why is it that every good book I've read in the past few years is being made into a movie?
this is quite terrible news because the chance of them screwing it up is much higher than getting it right and making it awesome !
these books have such great potential to be an exciting new movie trilogy, but judging by every other book-movie attempt; is will be horrendous and ruin the books for future readers and current fans.
ps: if they cast Alex Pedofile as Jace I may hurt someone

Hey Angry Beaver, I am NOT a teenybopper and I happen to think Alex fits Jace rather perfectly. AAAAAAanyways, just cause other book-to-movie adaptions have been ruined doesn't mean this one will be, I mean, this studio did Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings, I loved both book series and all the movie adaptions . . . though the last harry potter was kind of a fall through, BUT STILL! this is a good thing, I can feel it in my bones . . . they're gonna do this right! Positivity can make all the difference! XD
