Plot Summary: In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer's phenomenally successful "Twilight" series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella's ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward's image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. I'm not surprised this movie got the greenlight right away since it brought back it's budget on Friday alone. Hopefully, they won't rush it into production right away for a release next year at the same time. Give it a 16 month gap or two years like Harry Potter has done. It really will pay off in the long run.

I'm really excited about this
Even though New Moon is not my favorite book in the series I'm looking forward to seeing the climax of the story played out in the big screen
as well as seen what actors are going to be cast for the roles of the Volturi
I also do not think the studio should spend more than 12 months on this project because I don't think will be too happy waiting for than a year for each movie

I was so happy when i heard this. At first i wasnt sure Twilight would do so good, but though it was rushed in the beginning i LOVED it. I cant wait for New Moon which along with Breaking Dawn is my favortie book. I just hope that they replace Tyler Lautner, cause no offense he is too kid like. But i cant wait for it!!!

Are you SERIOUSE?!?!?!New Moon was one of the BEST BOOKS...I can't wait to see what Jacob looks like as a wolf...hopefully, they get Steven Strait to play Jacob...*sigh*...steven strait, with no shirt...*sigh*...both Robert Pattinson, and Steven Strait...on the big screen...*O.M.G...SIGH*...YEAH... I think that them two alone...would double ticket sales for New Moon...honestly, I think them two would have better rivalry chemistry on screen...it's more believable. I just can't imagine Edward feeling any kind of jealousy towards Jacob...not with the guy they have playing his part in Twilight...but if Steven Strait were to play Jacob...yeah...that's believable...maybe it would give Kristen an idea of how bella felt choosing between them two, that way she won't ruin New Moon, and then she could FINALLY give a perfomance worth watching.

i wasnt a big fan of new moon.but i do think that i will like the filmm.
i lovee all the charactors in twilight the movie. expecialy jacob. so i hope taylor lautner still plays jacob black. hes perfect for the film. i cant wait until this movie comes out. twilight was amazing, so im sure new moon will be too. i can not wait to see breaking dawn in theaturess i think that going to be a big hit:)

i'm so not amazed that new moon has been anounced. Robert's already 22 as it is it would have been really difficult for him to play a 17 yr old for the next three movies if they spaced them out a couple years each. I cant wait until breaking dan comes out. that was my favourite of the books.

This was not the best book only because Edward was go for to long, but I can't wait till this movies is out. I hope all the same cast plays in all the movies.
