Plot Summary:
"As Good As Dead" is a psychological thriller full of unexpected twists and turns following Ethan, an acclaimed photojournalist (Cary Elwes), who is kidnapped and tortured by three assailants.
What begins as an average day for Ethan (Cary Elwes) takes a dangerous turn when mysterious attackers break into his New York apartment and hold him hostage. The home invaders, who are led by Helen, the widow of Reverend Kalahan (Andie MacDowell), aren't looking to rob him; instead they are looking to avenge the death of Helen's beloved husband, the right-wing cult leader whose brutal murder remains unsolved. On a mission of revenge, the assailants vow to make Ethan pay – but the more they interrogate him, the more they doubt he is the killer.
