Somehow they need to go beyond the usual and convey that sense of dread we all felt when, for some reason, Generals who've spent their entire careers fighting can't help but feel fondness and complete devotion toward the very foe who has conquered them. They need to get the audience involved in the masterful court intrigues Asimov weaved as he carefully, piece by piece, built up the plot lines of several characters.
Somehow though, I think what we'll get is the same big-name/big budget, cgi orgy that has become the only game in tinseltown.
One book max should be in one movie. A BN, BB movie is only worth going to the theater for. I want something worth BUYING---which this has the full potential for. >:D
