Plot Summary: A musical remake of the 1983 comedy "Valley Girl." The new musical will utilize the 'Romeo and Juliet' story of the original - a girl from the valley, meets Randy, a punk from the city. They are from different worlds and find love. Somehow they need to stay together in spite of her trendy, shallow friends. The new film will sport classic '80s songs.

The original was directed by Martha Coolidge and starred Nicolas Cage & Deborah Foreman.
