I would REALLY love to see the first Cap movie be set in WWII and end with him getting frozen. Sadly, I think they'll just have him in thawing out in the modern time and have flashbacks. :(

Flash-er I agree, it should be set to then, but given that these movies are all connected to the Avengers, it will likely be in the modern era

Im lookin forward to seeing a newer Capt movie. The original wasnt that great. It was deffinately a low budget flick. Im anxious to see what they do this time around. Now where the hell is the new Flash movie?

The First Avenger: Captain America, actually he was an Invader before he became an avnger and the first avengers were iron man, hulk, thor, ant-man and wasp. Cap was initiated in the 4th avengers comic and became the 5th avenger with honorary founding member status.

This could be excellent if they get a real gritty story. I would like to see less of the spiderman / superman type plot and more of the remade James Bond style aggression.

It would make sense to have it during WWII and end with him being frozen. Since there is supposed to be an Avengers Movie it would be better to have to have Cap pulled out of the ice.
Cap. movie will tie in with the Avengers nicely.
They may try to make it more up to date like they did with Iron Man though.

As long as they don't muck up the costume it has a chance.

Hopefully you won't get a bunch of Hollywood Liberals that are scared to offend the other countries that the movie will play in, and change his costume to some kind of "United Nations" Amalgamation.

It's a miracle Hollywood is calling it Captain America in the first place.
