Plot Summary: Famed Japanese auteur Takashi Miike, best known for cult classics "Audition," "Ichi the Killer," and "The City of Lost Souls," redefines the spaghetti Western with "Sukiyaki Western Django," a tale written in blood. Two clans, Genji, the white clan led by Yoshitsune, and Heike, the red clan led by Kiyomori, battle for a legendary treasure hidden in a desolate mountain town. One day, a lone gunman, burdened with deep emotional scars but blessed with incredible shooting skills, drifts into town. Two clans try to woo the lone gunman to their sides, but he has ulterior motives. Dirty tricks, betrayal, desire and love collide as the situation erupts into a final, explosive showdown.

I love Takashi Miike, but this sounds kinda like Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo. Which would be fine, I liked Last Man Standing, haven't seen A Fistful of Dollars though. But then Django is that Spanish spaghetti western, which I really should watch.

Ummm does anyone else see a resemblance to a movie that Bruce Willis did? Last Man Standing, or even Yojimbo from Akira Kurosawa

The fact that you liked Last Man Standing shows that you have no taste. This looks like tripe par extraodinaire.Maybe you should read a book. Like maybe Red Harvest by Hammett which both Yojimbo and its ripoffs are based on.
