Plot Summary: "Kick-Ass" tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name -- Kick-Ass -- assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There's only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.

His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Cage).

I have high hopes 4 this 1, should be really good. Look at Wanted they totally butchered the comic & it still turned out a pretty good movie, with Kick-Ass they wont have much to change (i hope).

The comic has been really good, I hope they can put out another issue before the movie comes out (how many months does it take for 1 issue?)

icon you have no idea what youre talking about, The only thing worse than the wanted movie was the graphic novel. What two steaming piles of feces, wasted money when there are starving children in the world. Whatre you gonna say next Beverly hills chihuahua is an oscar contender for best picture? Get some taste dude. AYE-CHIHUAHUA!!

Oh and this movie sounds lame....

Hmm.. I thought wanted was a pretty entertaining movie. Seemed a bit rushed near the end but overall I thought they did pretty well. I know nothing about the comic so I can just give my opinion for how the movie was to me as is. :P

The Kick-Ass comics are frickin sweet. Nicolas Cage as the father of the Hit-Girl, I can't see that at all. The again, he did pull off Ghost Rider. I can't wait for this movie. i know some friends who are excitted as well. Blood. Gore. Marvel couldn't get anymore violent than that. Bring it on Marvel Icon.

im worked on the film kick ass as a new york police officer and i can tell you know the film is going to be amassive hit bigger than the dark knight everyone was brilliant i had the time of my life .i cant wait to see this lot eating there words and bowing there heads in shame and so they should .
