Plot Summary: Ryden Malby (Bledel) had a plan. Do well in high school, thereby receiving a great college scholarship. Now that she's finally graduated, it's time for her to find a gorgeous loft apartment and land her dream job at the city's best publishing house. But when Jessica Bard (Reitman), Ryden's college nemesis steals her perfect job, Ryden is forced to move back to her childhood home. Stuck with her eccentric family – a stubborn do-it-yourself dad (Keaton), an overly thrifty mom (Lynch), a politically incorrect grandma (Burnett), a very odd little brother (Coleman) – and a growing stack of rejected job applications, Ryden starts to feel like she’s going nowhere. The only upside is spending time with her best friend, Adam (Zach Gilford) – and running into her hot next-door neighbor, David (Santoro). But if Ryden's going to survive life as a post grad, it may be time to come up with a new plan...

Let me guess... The girl has a huge crush on the hot next door neighbor, but her average guy friend has a thing for her, but wont tell her straight out until the end. She will go through obsessing for the hot neighbor the whole movie, but she realizes that the one who truly cares for her is right in her own backyard (the average guy friend). Sure enough, the opportunity for the dream job opens back up but she turns it down because it's not the fancy job that matters, it's who you spend your time in life with that truly counts (average friend + crazy family). So in the end the main chick will be with the average joe and family holding down a mediocre job. Hmmm, yep, once you have seen one chick flick, you've seen them all...

I just looked at the trailer to see if I was correct, I have to admit, seeing what the trailer gave, I'm not far off at all. save your time and go watch just friends or something. it's the same story.

I am SOOOO happy to see Alexis in this! I LOVELOVELOVE Gilmore Girls. Its weird to see her as anything but Rory but I love her and cant wait to see her do more. Shes so beautiful and talented!

Does this look like a continuation of Gilmore Girls or what??? She just graduated from college and is looking for a job... Too bad it couldn't have Logan in it!! Well, I'm excited to see Alexis Bledel again...I'll go see it!
