Plot Summary: X-Men series star Famke Janssen has signed to appear in twelve episodes of the FX plastic-surgery drama Nip/Tuck, which will return for its second season in June.

Janssen will play a woman who becomes a counselor to Joely Richardson's character, Julia McNamara, the wife of one of the two plastic surgeons who are the focal point of the series.

Janssen will appear in the bulk of the series' upcoming 16-episode season, set to begin June 22. She is set to make her debut in episode three.

Executive producer Greer Shephard described Janssen's role as "a femme fatale who is going to (insert herself) into the life of all of our characters and wreak tremendous havoc."
