This is possibly the worst idea for a movie ever. I'm sure it worked just fine as a book, but how could this movie be anything other than amazingly boring.

Howly cow, this project is absolutely great. I'm sure that film shows the beauty and passion of cooking. And the best reason to watch that movie is of cousrse Meryl Strepe, whose performences are blowin me away again and again!

I think what Nora Ephron did was combine two books together, Julia Child's (Mery) memoirs with Julie Powers books and though on the surface it seems a lot about cooking, I think the entire plot is deeply story driven. (I'm just guessing here, being a writer myself and this is how I would have slanted the plot)

Thinking about it, it depends on how Nora manage to stitch the two women's lives together. She's a great screenwriter and a very talented woman. I think she'll make this into pretty a good story worthy of Meryl Streep's genius.

Amy's character seems a step out of her usual and I'm looking forward to see her tackle this very different role. And Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep...a treat, for sure!

Also, can't wait to see Meryl again!

I think this will be a very interesting movie. I mean, loads of women are definitely going to go and see this one. I know my aunt, who loves cooking, will go. Sounds very real and funny. Plus seeing Meryl Streep playing yet another fresh and different role is quite amuzing for a lot of people.
