Plot Summary: From Ricky Gervais, the award-winning creator and star of the original BBC series "The Office" and HBO's "Extras," comes the new romantic comedy "The Invention of Lying," which takes place in an alternate reality where lying--even the concept of a lie--does not exist. Everyone--from politicians to advertisers to the man and woman on the street--speaks the truth and nothing but the truth with no thought of the consequences. But when a down-on-his-luck loser named Mark suddenly develops the ability to lie, he finds that dishonesty has its rewards. In a world where every word is assumed to be the absolute truth, Mark easily lies his way to fame and fortune. But lies have a way of spreading, and Mark begins to realize that things are getting a little out of control when some of his tallest tales are being taken as, well, gospel. how many times are Jennifer Garner & Jason Bateman gonna be in movies together? & idk if anyone has noticed, but I swear Jennifer Garner is determined to work with every character in Superbad. She worked with Michael Cera in Juno, even though I dont think they had any scenes together, Emma Stone(Jules) in Ghost of Girlfriend's Past, and Jonah Hill in this movie.

oh, & for the record...this isnt a complaint, it was just something that I was pointing out.

I was an extra in this film in Lowell Mass. The scene i'm in they pull up in a Limo and Get out and walk down a red carpet into a movie premiere they come over and sign autographs, I'm in the crowd taking a picture. :) it was a fun shoot. And Jennifer Garner came over and said Hi to us afterwards. =)

I was a cavewoman in this shoot and never worked with a nicer crew or cast. I'm very excited about this movie and dying to see the trailer. Ricky Gervais is the best!! Incredible actor and director

Thats right DAN,delayed for a year.Either they reshoot everthing or recast like the movie CURSED.Even with Jennifer Garner and Tina Fey,they still doesn't trust or know what to do with the movie.This mean WATCHMAN is WB film for the whole march.

I think the delay comes from the underperformance of Ghost Town.
