If it opens in December 19 (even just limited) then why no trailer yet?

It worked for Crossing Over, hopefully it'll work here too.

And clips don't count. I want a friggin' trailer dammit!

Hmmmm, some Hollywood rehashing of Valerie Plame? It wasn't a great story then, but she sure used it as a vehicle to become famous... now she gets a movie, throw in a Presidential assassination attempt. Alan Alda, too... now we KNOW it will be some lefty's dream come true.

I hope she dies for treason. Is she a spy and her cover is being a reporter? Any reporter that would put a story and a job ahead of national security is an ass and traitor. Why is Hollywood promoting the act of exposing American spies? The first Mission: Impossible was all about keeping the list of American spies out of the hands of our enemies.
Give the source and expose a traitor. Hollywood is so F*ing backwards.

Sounds like a great comedy. Judith Miller as a champion of journalistic principle. I like it. Who says Hollywood has no sense of irony? The story of a gutsy reporter fighting against no odds to support the supremely powerful against the forces of truth and justice by outing a CIA agent while her country is at war. She has my respect already. People should watch this movie and then read about the real Miller - a self-interested lying traitor who could never be honestly described as a "journalist" by any stretch of the imagination. She has made a career of lying in support of power, and she played a prominent and active role in selling the invasion of Iraq to the American public. No amount of gushing Hollywood drivel will ever change those facts. If the law were actually applied properly to people like her, she'd be on her way to the gas chamber for treason.

So amazing that we can play someones Judge and Executioner all at once. One man's terrorist is another hero. What would you say if someone wrote an article exposing foreign enemies for the US and they got caught in foreign hands. Well do it for National Secuirty and reveal all your sources.. Its hard to imagine the other side of the coin. Richard and Bablugats would tell you die for your principals.

Thats the problem with America, common-sense and right and wrong. only pertain to serve our best intrest. Not as a human race. If an informant has information and asks to be kept secret, then you should hold him in confidence.

I don't see Kate Beckinsale going anywhere and her carreer especially costarring with Matt Dillion who's like a used tire in the movie world.
If i want to see a hot brunnette in a movie i'd rather see Catherine zeta jones. Kate should stick to vampire movies.

I completely agree with Richard. I was hoping she would die for treason. How can she compare her circumstances with that of watergate? She exposed a CIA agent because she could, not because the agent was rogue or corrupt. I agree with her on not giving up her source because of who it was, but how pathetic to have to be to use her source. She cost the life of a CIA agent and she gets a pulitzer prize for it!? WTF? I'm all for protecting the right of free speech, but publishing information which comprimises CIA operatives is the same (in my book) as compromising the safety of our troops. She deserved to be charged with treason.
