Plot Summary: A revisionist take on the L. Frank Baum books that hatched "The Wizard of Oz."

McFarlane said. "I want to create (an interpretation) that has a 2007 wow factor. You've still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place, but she's much closer to the Ripley from 'Alien' than a helpless singing girl."

i dont know about this one. if i recall they made a sequel to the wizard of oz called return to oz back the early 80s and that movie how should i put it....................SUCKED!!!!!! really,really,really,really,really bad

you don't know what your talking about Stevie from tha VELT return to oz was awesome I just watched it yesterday and I was mid 80s 1985 and I was much better then the first one I hope they get the Jim Henson studio's to do it. even though they did make a TV version a few years back that had Kermit the frog and the gang in it but it sucked but that's because it was a short film with no budget and they cast some black pop singer to play Dorthy. they need it to look dark and light at the same time kinda like the Dark Chrystal but darker but not to much it has to be enjoyable for the rest of the family.

There already was a sequel to wizard of OZ it was called Return to OZ and it had no music and was really creepy.

the best is the original...Margaret hamilton and judy garland steal the ****in movie. and if they reimagine it, which is inevitable, i just hope they stay away from disney helping and let dimension or twisted pictures take it instead. darKer...
