Plot Summary: "Management" is a romantic comedy that chronicles a chance meeting between Mike Cranshaw (Steve Zahn) and Sue Claussen (Jennifer Aniston). When Sue checks into the roadside motel owned by Mike's parents in Arizona, what starts with a bottle of wine "compliments of management" soon evolves into a multi-layered, cross-country journey of two people looking for a sense of purpose. Mike, an aimless dreamer, bets it all on a trip to Sue's workplace in Maryland – only to find that she has no place for him in her carefully ordered life. Buttoned down and obsessed with making a difference in the world, Sue goes back to her yogurt mogul ex-boyfriend Jango (Woody Harrelson), who promises her a chance to head his charity operations. But having found something worth fighting for, Mike pits his hopes against Sue's practicality, and the two embark on a twisted, bumpy, freeing journey to discover that their place in the world just might be together.

I am sorry your view of men is so warped that you think only HOT hot men are supposed to be a women's knight in shinning armor! Almost any of the guys on your not so hot list I would so F*** because I find them attractive! These movies show that there is more than gorgeous people being with gorgeous people. Not everyone in the world is as shallow as you! Just go rent a F***ing classic love story and be happy you sh**head! If it bothers you that bad then dont go to any of these movies! Just sit home and be as big a downer as possible!

You completely miss my point. All of the men mentioned on in my post are highly successful actors with pockets full of money from acting whether they are funny or extremely handsome. There is not one actor on the list who I have not spent good money to see their films. BUT movies are fantasy. They are not real so it is a place to have fun with fantasy. My point is MEN should not decide what is acceptable levels of fantasy for WOMEN. We CERTAINLY don't get to decide for THEM. How many male films where the female actress is barely legal age and more than likely playing a prostitute. Why doesn't that upset you? The playground is certainly not level. It is a double standard for women. YES I am shallow in this particular area of choice because it is FANTASY!! It is a TRAVESTY to see Jennifer Aniston begging Steve Zahn to TOUCH her ASS when this is a film aimed at the female audience. We deserve BETTER!!!

Oddly enough I do watch old movies and the formula they used (As I already mentioned) is a gorgeous leading lady and a equally good-looking leading man. This worked for decades until around the late 60's into the 70's and 80's. This is about the time Jack Nicholson (not hot. great actor) hit the scene. Dennis Hopper chronicles the change in leading men in a documentary about the history of acting. I apologize I don't recall the name of the documentary. Dennis Hopper actually gives a name chronicling the change in acting formulas for leading men.

dude Nvee,
Have you noticed why most of your "Hot" list of Actors don't get the big role in these movies. Its cuz they Freakin suck! Half of them haven't even established themselves as experienced actors yet. So yes they might make you cream your jeans, but directors want men who will make there movie money, and win awards. So you can continue watching Into the Blue and the fast and the furious while we all watch movies worth our time.

Nvee,
Just because YOU see a movie to "have fun with fantasy" doesn't mean that's the case for all other women. Movies CAN be a place for fantasy, and that's fine. It's great!! But it doesn't necessarily mean that that's why I'M there. It's not everyone's purpose. So if this movie doesn't hold up to your fantasy standard, just don't see it! Go rent 27 Dresses (honestly, not saying this in a condescending way, as I did really love that movie).

I'd also like to add that your list of "not hot dudes" is way off base. Luke Wilson? Paul Rudd? Seriously? Two of my favorite actors, and they are definitely hot.
