Plot Summary:
In "Lakeview Terrace," a young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Samuel L. Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighborhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly harassing to the newlyweds. These persistent intrusions into their lives ultimately turn tragic when the couple decides to fight back.

Yeah, part of it seems funny. But, guess it is supposed to be funny? Doesn't seem like it was meant to be a serious thriller. More or less tongue-in-cheek. Not a comedy. Not serious. In between.
September is actually a good date. The near end of August is bad. But, September it's pretty much saying "hey, you've got all these academy contenders. Come on in and have some fun with Samuel L."
Just wondering, am I the only one on Samuel L. Jackson character's side against the suburbanite couple? Wonder if they intended for the film to be that way.
THey filmed it at my principles house and she took us to watch it. it looks intense
