This movie sounds NUTS! Then again, I'm not a big fan of Asian horror remakes. I think people should just watch the original.

This film IS a remake of "A TALE OF TWO SISTERS", NOT "The Uninvited". "A Tale of Two Sisters" is an incredible masterpiece; any remake following in the steps of this film has its work cut out. The vast majority of Hollywood's remakes of Asian films have turned out poorly in comparison to their Asian counterparts. Seems strange that Dreamworks would tie this movie to the film "The Uninvited". If it were just an arbitrary name, that might not be such a problem; but the name is that of another Korean Horror film involving two girls. My what a coincidence! Now, the average viewer, if looking for the original, will naturally think that “The Uninvited” is it. Compared to that film, just about anything in the line on a remake would look good. However, it would be extremely difficult to remake a film that could stand up to the quality of "A Tale of Two Sisters". Of course, now that they've changed the name to this low quality film that can easily be mistaken for the original, I guess they don't have to.

Indeed, the name of the original is A Tale of Two Sisters. This remake, like all others before it will be horrid. It's criminal to take such a masterpiece and hollywoodize it. Take it from me and everyone else who has seen A Tale of Two Sisters. Watch the original!

LIES! the original is not called that,it is true that there's a Khorror movie by the name of "The Univited" but this one is "A Tale of Two Sisters" and it was EXTREAMLY GOOD. thus I can't wait to see how they screw this one up!

This movie was originally called "A Tale of Two Sisters." The same as its Korean counterpart. This remake was supposed to be released in 2008 but was postponed until 2009 and renamed with the alias "The Uninvited", probably to gain more interest and not be connected to the original. We shall see what happens, but with my experience I will agree with the other people who say that remakes never can compare with the originals.

"Based on the Kim Jee-Woon's 2003 Korean horror film of the same name"??? Who wrote this?
The Uninvited is a movie by lee soo yeon and is a completely different story. I don't know why the changed the title of Tale Of Two Sisters to this but it makes no sense at all.
Anyway, I expect it to be just another remake like all the others: made by a director who's run out of ideas for an american audience that refuses to watch movies in different language than their own.
Watch the original, it's brilliant!!!
