Plot Summary: When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Jack Black and Michael Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world in Columbia Pictures' comedy "Year One." I was a extra in the film Year One. I had a blast. The actors were very nice and humbled. Its nice to know that some actors are not as full of them self. They act like normal people. I have a new respect for the actors, they work really hard to give us the entertainment we so love. Even some extras work hard as while. I am very happy to have been a part of this and hope to have mine more.

We just wrapped in part of New Mexico with three days of filming and the scene looked great. There were a couple of hundred of us backround actors and we were treated very politely by the crew, and ignored by most of the cast. I hoped for a little "hey guys, let's make this film" from Jack and Michael, but we only really got that from Mr. Ramis, and the other directors and crew. Still, it was a great experience.

I was an extra also, I did it for the money,('cuz employment is scarce here in NM) and for the fun of it. Some of us got a real kick out of the experience! We really didn't expect, or even hope for any acknowledgement from the Stars.
The best entertainment was the wannabe's that showed up in hopes of being discovered. As far as the food goes,..Kudo's guys. It was appreciated, but to you Mr. "16 suasage breakfast" piggies like you are not appreciated.

I was an extra in the making of this movie. It was so much fun! The cast and crew were so nice. Too bad a lot of the "locals" were so greedy and ignorant acting!By the time filming was done, I was ashamed to say I was from La.
