Plot Summary: Dave Ming Chang (Eddie Murphy), newly arrived in New York City, may be the ultimate fish out of water. There's something about him that's not quite right – for starters, he seems remarkably out of place and uncomfortable in his own body. They just changed it to Meet Dave 12345678, make sure u get ur facts straight.

This movie is a recreation of the Eddie Murphy movie The Adventures Of Pluto Nash, which got completely suckish reviews and did terribly at the box office. Something tells me this will end up the same way.

Eddie Murphy used to be so good. Norbit made him suck. Take Srek The Third for example.

This movie is likely to be pretty whack. I wonder if there are any legal ramifications regarding the name of the film. Though it is not the totally the same as "Meet Bill" which comes out 1st it's fairly close with the whole "Meet" + character name.

This is very different from Pluto Nash. It being a Sci-Fi comedy is the only comparison. It's not even set in space. It's not about a night-club owner on the moon. He's a spaceship set on Earth with tiny aliens inside him. No it's not Osmosis Jones either, because Eddie plays all the little aliens too. I believe why they changed the title was because people somehow would compare it to Pluto Nash and guess what, they were right. It's a very original idea. I wish they could have kept the title Starship Dave. It would have been better.

This movie is going to be a huge flop. The trailer had only a few minor laughs. Eddie is at his best when he is in R rated movies.
