Plot Summary: "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy star Sean Astin and Annie Potts (Designing Women) are joining the cast of Joel Zwick's Elvis Has Left the Building.

The film centers on a Mary Kay consultant (Kim Basinger) who is being pursued for the murder of several Elvis impersonators. While on the run, she meets up with a bored New York ad exec (John Corbett).

Astin will play an executive at the firm where Corbett's character works. Potts will play a successful Mary Kay rep who is a best friend of Basinger's character. Denise Richards also stars.

In addition, Astin also is signing on to topline the independent project Slipstream.
