Plot Summary: Naked and alone Sara sits in Minnesota motel room, a knife to her wrist. She has recently escaped an abusive father only to be betrayed by a man she trusted. Unable to kill herself Sara seeks out a safe haven, the Roadhouse, a bar owned by a friend of her mother, Jeanette. At the bar Sara meets two brothers, Greg and Tony, who front a rock band. In addition to finding a strong emotional connection with the pair Sara also displays a talent for singing and song writing. However, as romantic tension builds between the three Sara's inner demons resurface, destroying her new found band before it really begins. Back on the road, Sara makes her way to Minneapolis and a year later finds that Tony and Greg have arrived in the city as well. However, if she and the group are to survive she must find the strength to face her past and sing her song.
