Plot Summary:
A feature film adaptation of J.G. Ballard's 1962 sci-fi classic. Set in the year 2145, "The Drowned World" offers a dystopic vision of the future wherein climate change has flooded much of the Earth and left the entire planet a vast tropical climate. The story follows a biologist, Dr. Robert Kerans, who is investigating the extreme ramifications the new environment is having on evolution in both flora and fauna.
