Mondo Comic-Con Exlusives Include Ant-Man Poster, Superman Vinyl and More!

As San Diego Comic-Con quickly approaches, more and more exclusives are being revealed and shown off online. Now, renowned poster producers Mondo have debuted their slate of Con exclusives (via USA Today) and among them are some very interesting pieces.

First up is an Ant-Man poster by artist Kevin Tong, the piece is a holofoil screen print limited to 175 and is inspired by Marvel’s Ant-Man. Speaking to the newspaper, Tong said he wanted the poster design “to show Ant-Man’s scale, the intensity of his transformation, and really just trying to make a poster as fun and dynamic as the movie.”

Also for sale at the Con is Mondo’s latest action figure offering with an 11″ Leonardo figure, based on his appearance in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics from the 1980s. The figure will come with multiple accessories, including his alternate blue mask, and will be on display with his brothers Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael.

Another slightly off-beat creation they will have on display is a statue based on artist Mike Mignola’s first ever sketch of Hellboy. Though pretty different from his actual comic book, and film, appearance, the statue will be available in both black and white and a color variant. It’s currently available for pre-order now on Mondo’s website.

Venturing into the music side of things, Mondo will also have a vinyl version of Shirley Walker’s theme for “Superman: The Animated Series” featuring cover art by Phantom City Creative’s Justin Erickson and cut in the shape of Superman’s “S” shield. The vinyl will be available in both traditional red and “kryptonite” green variants.

Another music offering is a vinyl of the late James Horner’s score for James Cameron’s 1986 film Aliens. The deluxe edition will feature more than a dozen musical cues new to vinyl plus five bonus tracks, with a cover designed by artist Killian Eng.

You can snag any of these for yourself at Mondo’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con, Booth #835, and check them out in the gallery below!
