Katy Perry to Headline the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show!

Pepsi and The NFL have confirmed the long-standing rumors that Katy Perry will perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show next year! Super Bowl XLIX will broadcast live on NBC from University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, February 1, 2015.

Katy announced the performance on Twitter last night during the Dallas Cowboys – New York Giants game and revealed she’s already working on ideas. She unveiled the teaser video for her performance which you can check out in the player below. Fans are encouraged to tune into NBC leading up to Super Bowl XLIX to see what Katy Perry has in store for this historic Halftime Show.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 115 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year’s show. 

Katy Perry joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.
