We’re kicking the week off with two exclusive behind-the-scenes clips from March 14 releases. In the top player below, you can take a look at Elle, the first film in more than a decade from Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Starship Troopers). Then, just beneath that, we’ve got a special look at Peter Berg’s Patriots Day with a featurette that details the challenges of shooting in and around Boston. Elle debuts this week on Blu-ray, while Patriots Day today hits Digital HD.

Other recent big screen releases coming home March 14 include the David Frankel drama Collateral Beauty (starring Will Smith and Kate Winslet), Denzel Washington’s Fences (which earned star Viola Davis an Academy Award), Morten Tyldum’s sci-fi romance Passengers (starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence), and Afonso Poyart’s Solace, starring Anthony Hopkins as a police psychic.

March 14 also brings home, via Oscilloscope, Anna Biller’s acclaimed horror thriller The Love Witch and, available via Blu-ray on Demand at Amazon, the moving documentary For the Love of Spock, directed by Leonard Nimoy’s son, Adam Nimoy.

With the live-action feature film hitting the big screen at the end of the month, we’re getting a new Steelbook release of the original 1995 anime Ghost in the Shell. While the new disc doesn’t offer any new special features, the artwork from Mondo is a big win for Steelbook collectors.

Warner Archive has really been stepping up their Blu-ray game and this week is no exception. March 14 sees the arrival of both the 1969 stop-motion dinosaur adventure The Valley of Gwangi and the 1977 Dean Koontz horror thriller The Demon Seed. Both debut on Blu-ray for the very first time.

Shout! Factory has a double helping of cool collector editions arriving March 14. John Milius’ hit alternate history actioner Red Dawn joins the Shout! Select line, arriving on HD with a number of special features, including a feature length making of documentary. Meanwhile, the Stephen King adaptation Firestarter joins the company’s Scream Factory label with quite a few features all its own, including a newly-recorded commentary track with director Mark L. Lester.

The Criterion Collection this week adds Felipe Cazals’ 1976 drama Canoa: A Shameful Memory. Based on a true 1968 incident, Canoa offers a powerful story about the danger of “alternative facts.”

When it comes to small-screen releases, March 14 delivers a complete series edition of the 2007 Marco Polo miniseries and, on DVD only, the second season of Netflix‘s hit comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The week also brings to DVD the third season of Z Nation, the fifth season of CHiPs, the eighth season of Newhart, and complete series sets for both The Mod Squad and Power Rangers SPD.

Also arriving on Digital HD March 14 is the 20th Century Fox comedy Why Him?, starring Bryan Cranston, James Franco and Zoey Deutch.
