We’re kicking the week off with two exclusive clips. In the first, you can take a look at a behind-the-scenes featurette from the charming comedy drama Morris From America, focusing on leading man Craig Robinson. Then, in the player just beneath that, you can take a look at what went into directing the action of The Mechanic: Resurrection. The film, which sees the return of Jason Statham as Arthur Bishop, hits Digital HD November 8.

If Morris From America isn’t enough for your Craig Robinson fill, you’re in luck. Robinson also joins an ensemble voice talent cast for the very, very R-rated animated adventure Sausage Party. Also arriving on store shelves November 8 is Indignation, writer/director James Schamus’ Philip Roth adaptation, starring Logan Lerman and Sarah Gadon, as well as the action sequel Kickboxer: Vengeance, featuring the return of franchise star Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The Criterion Collection then releases what is sure to be a popular holiday gift for cinephiles with the complete Lone Wolf and Cub. The company’s three-disc Blu-ray set includes all six chapters in the samurai series as well Shogun Assassin, the 1980 North American reedit of the franchise’s first two entries.

Warner Archive has quite a busy week with the Blu-ray debut of 1977’s The Goodbye Girl. Directed by Herbert Ross and scripted by Neil Simon, The Goodbye Girl earned star Richard Dreyfuss an Academy Award. Other releases from Warner Archive include the re-release of Paul Newman classics The Mackintosh ManThe Drowning Pool and The Racket. Look for those on DVD-Rs as well as the 1960 western Dallas (starring Gary Cooper and Ruth Roman) and the 1951 noir His Kind of Woman (starring Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell).

Shout! Factory‘s Scream Factory label gets a new collector’s edition entry November 8 with Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep. The 2002 cult classic stars Bruce Campbell as a geriatric (and definitely not deceased) Elvis Presley who must team with fellow celebrity retirement home resident John F. Kennedy (Ossie Davis) to defeat an evil cowboy mummy. Not only does Bubba Ho-Tep get its first ever HD home release, the new set is packed with bonus material, including brand new commentary tracks with Coscarelli and author Joe R. Lansdale.

Arrow Films, meanwhile, continues their own line of classic and cult horror fare with director Larry Stewart’s 1984 slasher The Initiation.

A number of small screen titles come home November 8, including the first seasons of Showtime‘s Billions (starring Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis), AMC‘s Into the Badlands and Netflix‘s Marvel’s Daredevil. There’s also the third season of STARZ‘s pirate adventure series Black Sails and the 11th season of the long-running BBC science fiction comedy Red Dwarf.

Television titles hitting DVD only November 8 include the second (and final) season of the superhero homicide procedural Powers and the third season of AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies. There’s also a complete series rerelease of Batman Beyond, collecting all three seasons of the hit superhero series.

In addition to The Mechanic: Resurrection, November 8 sees the Digital HD releases of the boxing drama Hands of Stone, the critically-acclaimed contemporary western Hell or High Water and the hit Fede Alvarez horror thriller Don’t Breathe. The week also sees the arrival of the first season of Alan Tudyk’s highly-amusing Con Man and, debuting on Friday, November 11, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
