Fox’s Man on Fire was the nation’s top rental title last week, earning about $7.83 million in gross rental spending for a 12-day cume of $19.4 million, or 24.9% of its domestic boxoffice gross. The film ranked No. 3 on VideoScan’s First Alert DVD sales chart during the same frame, down from its No. 1 ranking during its debut week.

Meanwhile, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind sold more than 600,000 combined DVD and VHS units its first day in release Tuesday (Sept. 28).
