The Vestron Video Collector’s Series is also putting out a sparkling new edition of Ken Russell’s 1986 film Gothic, about the famed real life “Haunted Summer” of 1816 in which Frankenstein and the basis of Dracula were born when 5 famous authors gathered together. The film features Gabriel Byrne, Julian Sands, Natasha Richardson and Timothy Spall.

Viva l’Italia

Roberto Rossellini’s 1961 epic about Italy’s historic national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi (Renzo Ricci) comes to Arrow Blu-ray in a deluxe edition that includes a new 2K restoration and an alternative shorter cut of the film.

Pink Panther Cartoon Collection – Vol. 1

This collection from Kino-Lorber features 20 of the Pink Panther short cartoons which were made between 1964 and 1966.

Penitentiary

Vinegar Syndrome is unleashing a new Blu-ray of this 1979 blaxploitation film, which stars Leon Isaac Kennedy as a wrongfully-imprisoned man who seeks to win a prison boxing competition for his freedom.
