ComingSoon.net's ShockTillYouDrop.com ventured down to Anaheim, California Saturday morning for the Disney event D23 Expo where the site was treated to the Frankenweenie presentation.

Walt Disney Pictures is kicking off a busy year of blockbusters with the March 9th release of John Carter, previewed this morning at Anaheim's D23 Expo.

Today at the the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA, the Walt Disney Company screened a preview of their upcoming animated feature Wreck-It Ralph. The comedy is about what happens to video game characters after the arcade closes.

"This is our first sort of fairytale," John Lasseter told an eager crowd this morning at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, "This is our first period piece. This is our first female main character. This is Brave."

At the D23 Expo today, Walt Disney Studios, Pixar Animation and Marvel Studios presented a look at their upcoming film slate and we've added 60 photos from the presentation to the D23 Expo Gallery.

There was a star that was late for their big D23 appearance. When Disney's head of production Sean Bailey introduced Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and Jason Segel to talk about The Muppets at D23 this Saturday, the curtain pulled back and revealed Kermit and Segel sitting in director's chairs - but Miss Piggy was nowhere to be seen.

Taking the stage at the film presentation at today's D23 Expo, John Lasseter and director Dan Scanlon offered a first glimpse at Monsters University. A prequel to Pixar's 2001 film, the 2013 release shows the first meeting between Billy Crystal's Mike Wazowski and John Goodman's James P. "Sully" Sullivan.

The pound of a hammer against shield. The crackle of lightning. The wit of Tony Stark. And the roar of Hulk. Today, in a packed arena at the D23 Expo, a frenzied audience salivating to see some of their favorite superheroes assembled felt the crushing blow of The Avengers.

At D23 this Saturday in Anaheim, CA, the Walt Disney Company showed a behind-the-scenes video of Oz The Great and Powerful. Director Sam Raimi opened the video wearing a suit reminiscent of the one worn by the original Wizard of Oz, Hobart Bosworth. Raimi apologized for not being able to attend the convention in person, but explained that he is in the midst of principal photography for the film.
